What happened to legitimate reporting?!?!
So I’m reading this story from CNN today 6/3/2021 titled Donald Trump is getting worse. What ever happened to legitimate reporting? Is CNN so hard up for ratings that they’re now making up stories about our former president?
Their story states, and I quote, “CNN’s Dana Bash reported Thursday morning that former President Donald Trump is “more obsessed than ever with the 2020 election,” with one former Trump aide telling her that the former President is only listening to “the bottom of the bottom of the crazies in the barrel.” Trump has always been very outspoken and I’ve searched the internet, I have found nothing stating that Trump is obsessed with the 2020 election. I merely found that post that they quoted where he stated “Great work is being done in Georgia revealing the Election Fraud of the 2020 Presidential Election. But, we must not allow ANYONE to compromise these ballots by leaving the building unsecured, which was done late Friday. Republicans and Patriots must protect this site and the Absentee Ballots.” I think we all as Americans agree that we should get to the bottom of things and verify if there was election fraud that took place and we should protect any and all evidence pertaining to the 2020 election.
Evidently, the New York Times, Washington Post, and CNN have stated that Trump believes he will be reinstated this summer when they said, “Trump has become so fixated on the audits that he suggested recently to allies that their success could result in his return to the White House this year, according to people familiar with comments he has made,” wrote the Post. Again, I will say, Trump is an extremely outspoken person. If he believed that, he would post that.
Here’s what I think is happening. During the Trump presidency these mainstream media outlets got the highest ratings they’ve ever seen reporting on then President Donald Trump and now that he’s left office they’ve lost ratings and therefore revenue. They’ve now resorted to making up stories about our former president.
We’re just supposed to believe CNN, the New York Times, and Washington Post that Trump is “obsessed” and “believes that he will be reinstated this summer”. Why didn’t CNN name this former Trump aide? Why didn’t they name who it was they were quoting? Why didn’t they film the interview? I’m sure CNN had some extra cameras laying around. They didn’t even bother to say in their story that the former aide spoke on the condition of anonymity, they just knew that CNN’s loyal fan base would just soak this all up without question.
What CNN, the New York Times, and Washington Post fail to realize is that us critical thinkers remember Trump exposed all of them for what they are, biased propaganda media machines. CNN, the New York Times, and the Washington Post were incredibly quick to run with the fake Trump Russian collusion hoax and print Trump’s supposed tax returns. All left leaning mainstream media sources are really good at that, like when 60 Minutes selectively cut out a good portion DeSantis’ response to smear him and make it look like he was involved in a pay to play scandal with Publix. DeSantis didn’t take it laying down though, he used other media outlets and social media to call them out for their smear campaign against him. Trump doesn’t have that option and mainstream media knows it. Trump has been banned from all big tech social media outlets. Even though that’s unprecedented for any former president to be silenced. Clinton and Nixon were impeached and they were never silenced in any manner.
Let’s face it, even though mainstream media tows the line and does everything Soros and their executives tell them to do, their cash cow has been Donald Trump for 4 years. They did everything they could and were told to do to get Joe Biden elected in 2020, like withholding the information about the Hunter Biden laptop, Hunter’s involvement with Russia, Hunter’s $800,000 job at the Ukrainian energy company, Hunter’s “loan” from China, Joe Biden’s sniffing and inappropriate touching of young girls, etc…. Unfortunately for them, with their success comes a price. They no longer have their cash cow Donald Trump to report on every night. Their viewership and clicks have gone down dramatically and therefore their revenue.
Donald Trump has been laying low for the most part. Him and his family have taken quite the beating over the past four years and he wants to relax and rest up. I for one think he deserves it. I didn’t always agree with the way he spoke and what I consider to be his narcissism, but I appreciate what he did for our country and putting our country first.
Mainstream media has had an opportunity to take a look at their first quarter results. They’ve seen their viewership, ratings, clicks, subscriptions and social media engagement decline since the election and therefore their revenue. Mainstream media has shareholders and owners to report to, even though the owners told them to skew their stories to make the Republicans look bad and the Democrats look good. Mainstream media has been chomping at the bit waiting for Trump to do something they could latch onto and run with even if it meant they had to take creative liberties with the facts.
Bottom line, Donald Trump is not infallible, but do your research. Donald Trump makes it easy. If it comes out of his mouth, it’s going to wind up on the internet somewhere it seems. Republicans and Patriots must protect this site and the Absentee Ballots.” Even though he is banned from all big tech social media platforms, he still was able to get that tidbit out. Don’t fall into the mainstream media cesspool of lies and deceit. If you want true and honest reporting, look to The Epoch Times, Newsmax, or OANN. You can find links to all of them on our website.
