Our Social Media site IDobbinate.com

So as I’ve mentioned in previous posts, I watched during the election cycle as the big tech social media were removing and blocking posts from being seen if they were beneficial to the republicans or detrimental to the democrats. It irritated me that Facebook and Twitter literally had the power and the reach to sway an election in the way that they wanted.

So in response, my wife and I created IDobbinate.com. We’re a free speech platform. IDobbinate.com is a place that people can post anything legal. IDobbinate.com is a site that doesn’t censor or remove posts just because they don’t agree with our agenda and our users don’t have the ability to remove posts either with enough down votes or any other way.

My commitment to maintain the site are as follows:

1. Even though we could build the site faster and improve the site faster, we will not incorporate. When you incorporate you are then beholden to the shareholders and they get a say in what happens with the business and how you run it.
2. We will never sell out to a larger company and cash out. If we sell out then obviously they’ll run it how they’re running their own sites now.
3. We will always remain a free speech platform as much as regulation allows us. I had to put that last part in there because it does no one any good if we get shut down. Also, as long as it’s legal, post what you want. I make no secret that I’m pro Trump and anti Biden. If you want to come on our site and start signing the praises of Biden, say that socialism is great, or how we should abort every baby, (I’m not saying the other users will take too kindly to it. You may get a spirited debate) but we will not remove your posts so long as they meet with regulation.
4. We built the site for the users and we will continue to improve the site to give users a better experience. We ask the users what they’d like to see and have on the site and we’re working towards it.
5. We will be as involved with the site as we possibly can to make sure we’re reachable, engaged, and making sure the users have the best experience we can possibly provide.
